Told A Guy To Fuck Off And He Called The Cops? (california, Burbank)

Hi! This is going to sound like such a dumb question. I recently moved from Canada to the USA. I was in Burbank at a walmart trying to get my child into their car seat with my mother. A man drives in and honks at me and mom to move. I gave him the "wtf" hands in the air jester. He then rolled his windows down and we exchanged "fuck yous".

Not my proudest momment but oh well.

He then, as I start driving away, starts taking pictures of my license plate and calling the cops. I told him "have fun" and left. There was no physical contact between us or the cars.

I just want to know if what happened actually amounts to any crime? Like I've never had someone calls the cops like this before.

Edi: Thank you everyone for reassuring me that this was not a crime. It however, may end up on a Facebook group. It's good to know for the future. I'll switch out my "fuck yous" for "bless your hearts".
