Surgery Center Won’t Refund Me For A Surgery They Didn’t Do?
I was supposed to get cosmetic surgery done, paid the full amount. Soon before the surgery I read some off putting things about the doctor and changed my mind. Everything was pretty unprofessional. I was talking to a nurse practitioner through an online portal, she sent me a link to pay the deposit which only asked for payment and nothing else. They sent me pre op and post op care instructions. Closer to the date they said I needed to pay the rest so I did. Once I paid through the same link they just wrote a message in the portal that said “paid” not once did I sign any paperwork nor was I given any for refund or cancellation details.
Never once was anything stated to me about their policy. I went on their website which states if I cancel they will not refund any amount but none of this was ever disclosed to me nor did I sign to agree to this. I know they will not want to give me my refund, what rights do I have on this? Surly they must disclose this information to every client? We are located in Florida.
