Stalker Advice
Location: New York I have a stalker, the case went to trial, and it ultimately got dismissed over a cyber technicality. He is still attempting to contact me, I have a compilation video of instances of him stalking me and many screenshots that were submitted as evidence in the initial trial. If I were to anonymously share that video, is there any legal action that can be taken against me? The video only documents him in public outside my place of work, and screenshots of text messages for further proofhave a stalker. The case went to trial and ultimately got dismissed, due to a cyber technicality. He provided evidence that i had reached out to him via email, and though the email address in question was mine, there was a security breach on my account prior to it being sent. Although I have no way of proving this, I believe he hacked my email and sent it to himself.
Now he is walking free, he has gone on a few podcasts publically with his full name, talking about the trial, bragging about his innocence, and also publically threatening to counter sue for false claims. We have never mentioned this case publicly, but a few thousand people are aware of it at this point.
I’ve compiled a video of footage of him stalking me, screenshots, many of which were submitted by me as evidence in court. If I were to share that video publicly and anonymously, are there any legal ramifications he could take?
