Sex Recorded Without Consent (me Usa)
Asking for a friend. My friend had consensual sex with someone and found out after that the person had recorded them having sex without her knowledge or consent (both parties are legal adults). As far as we know the person has not posted the material anywhere, but they refuse to delete it. My friend obviously feels very violated and wants the video deleted. I told her that since there was a reasonable expectation of privacy she has the grounds to at least sue if she wants to spend the money, but I'm not overly familiar with other laws that may apply or other recourse she may have. What are some things that can be done here?
