Seller Disclosures About Potential Property Issues Ca (bay Area)
I live in a townhome community of about a dozen or so units, side by side (in SF Bay Area). One of my neighbors (units are side by side) is doing some remodeling and the contractors discovered some issues with their bathtub. I was texted this and while I don't understand the technical issue of it there is water leaking/pooling when its obviously not supposed to. I suspect they might try to implicate me to look into my unit (since its adjacent) but I have had no known issues with plumbing.
I am in the process (in getting my house ready for staging) to sell it. I feel like I'm in a weird spot. I have no known issues with my plumbing, however the fact that our units are typical townhome, side by side does raise some flags? in my head. Also now there are text messages to me about the problem with their unit. What should i do? I'm assuming since there are no issues with my unit specifically, I am ok?
