Scammed By My Mechanic

Hey guys,
Long story short, I wanted to replace the clutch on my 1999 toyota celica. I messaged a local mechanic in Nelson Bay Nsw (Australia) to replace it for me and supply the parts.
He messaged me the the price of CERAMIC HEAVY DUTY CLUTCH KIT (from clutch direct) and the Clutch Industries OE Replacement Solid Flywheel SRF1044 (Repco) as $565. Which is actually $269 for the clutch kit and $97 for the flywheel on the website. I thought maybe he has profits on parts, I went with his quote.
Then he ordered Blusteele Heavy Duty Clutch Kit from ebay for $193 (sale price) or $226.88. Which is not we agreed on.
I already paid him the money ($565 + $50= $615) for the clutch kit and flywheel. When I realised he did not order why I told him to, I asked him to return the product and refund me. Matter of fact I offered him to keep 50 bucks for the inconvenience out of kind gesture.
Now, he told me that he will not return the parts and refuse to refund my money. I have chat logs as proof. Is there anything I can do to get my money back?
