Quitting Contracted Position (apex Systems) Without 2 Weeks Notice?

I signed onto a 3 month project contract via Apex with a major bank. I’m having some major health issues and now think it’s best for me to quit now, as the job & commute have turned out to be much more demanding and wearing on my health than anticipated. However, I do not want to give 2 weeks notice. There is a clause in the contract that states Apex could be liable from damages from the employer if I quit, therefore I’m “required to give 10 business days notice, if possible.” The ‘if possible’ doesn’t seem particularly binding- like maybe it’s just there to scare people. It then goes on to say they are not liable if they end the contract without notice (ha). If I quit citing health reasons after 2 months, do I have reason to worry? I also think there’s a fair chance the employer would cut off my access upon giving notice regardless. Thank you
