Prospective Employer Not Paying For Paid Project During Job Interview
Hi all, could use some help.
A couple of months ago I interviewed for a job. I did 3 rounds of interviews. The second round was a paid project for $400.
They liked my work and I did the next interview and then I didn’t hear from them. I reached out to get an update and they said they were still weighing their options.
A week later I send them an email saying for us to go ahead and get squared away on the paid project and then they can just reach out to me when they decide and we can assess the situation then.
It’s been 2 weeks and nothing (5 weeks since I delivered the project).
Do I have any recourse here? Is it even worth my time? I am in Texas and the business is in Michigan.
