[maryland] Mold Destroyed Many Of Our Possessions In Our Rented House
We have mold all over our living room. The majority of our furniture, pillows, blankets, and all of my partner's tools are now covered it in. He's in the process of throwing much of the smaller things away because it doesn't look like they can be salvaged.
We're wondering what legal action can be taken against our landlord to recover from the damage. We think we've lost at least $5000 worth of possessions due to the mold. We've also been having issues with concentration and attention over the last few months which we think could be caused by this.
We're not sure what action to take now and could use some help. Ultimately we'd like to leave this place behind but we would like to talk to a lawyer about our options.
