Prior Employer Is Sending Me Text Messages Claiming They Have Evidence That I'm Giving My New Employer Proprietary Information And They Will Have Legal Get Involved If I Don't Stop.

This is in Texas. My prior employer has become a toxic work environment so I quit and remained unemployed for 4 months before taking a job at a competitor.

I do not have a non compete but I do have a confidentiality agreement with my last employer. They are now claiming that 1) I'm stealing and using "processes" developed by their company. 2) I'm stealing employees which undermines their company and is a breach of my employee contract. (I don't know what this is.) 3) They claim to have proof I'm having my boss steal customers using confidential information that is intellectual property. 4) They also claim I have price sheets and customer information list that I stole.

I have reached out to a couple employees that were also leaving the company and offered them a posistion where I work now. Its less money and no benefits.

I have zero property of there. Hell I didnt even get all my property back when they told me on my last week to not come back.

There has been zero exchange of customer information with my current boss.

Do I need to get a lawyer or just ignore their messages?
