Previous Landlord Is Suing My Entire Family

Context: I’m from NY and in 2022 the building was purchased new owners tried charging us $3000+ in rent after two months of them purchasing the building(we were paying $1200) we went to court when they began to refuse rent and they attempted to evict us. The process went through till 2024 February where the ruling was that we would leave by end of March which we did and they would forgive any previous rent owed as well as agree not to sue us or contact us(they broke into the apartment, charged us for repairs they had to do, refused to provide heat, and refused to maintain the building itself, and changed the locks twice on us). Fast forward to now after many attempts of them contacting us trying to get our new address and us repeatedly telling them to stop contacting us a lawyer representing them sues Me my wife my son and my mother each for $25,000 for “unpaid rent”. Not really sure what to do at this point any advice would be appreciated thank you Edit: just wanted to add only people on the lease was me and my mother
