Parent Sold My Annuity Without My Knowledge

After a the closure of a medical malpractice case about 13 years ago when I was a minor, my father and I were bestowed my then disabled (now deceased) mother's insurance policy. We both were assigned a percentage of the annuity (I got 40% stake). Fast forward to recently turning 18 - I found out through public records that the remainder of my payments had been court approved to be sold to a firm last spring while I was still a minor. The small remainder was dumped into my court locked account awaiting termination. My fathers claim & reasoning on paper for the request to sell is suspicious. Is there a way I can get my part of the annuity that was sold back? I am planning hit him with my findings soon.
