Options From A Company I Know Longer Work At

Card image cap

Hi All,

I left a company two years ago. Before I left I had vested around 50,000 options. Company has around 25 million shares.

My question is can the company take those options away without me knowing? And what are my general rights to those options? Do I have them indefinitely until I’m ready to exercise them?

I’m worried the CEO is going to screw me over but I dont have the cash to buy them just yet. I was hoping the company would be sold soon so they get activated.

Thanks in advance

Edit - apologies for the spelling mistake in the title. It’s early here
