No Contact With Wife Who Left Me, And I'm Trying To Buy A House

So my wife abandoned me and our daughter 9 months ago. I haven't had any contact with her since except once when she call and cursed me out about 2 weeks after she left, she didn't call for Christmas or even our daughters 1st birthday. I had just got out of the military and am living with my mother as of now to help with my daughter. I found a great house in a great school district and have made a offer and it has been accepted. Can I legally buy a house while still married to her? She has changed her number and I have no idea where she is living now. I'm really worried this is going to screw me over, but I had to make a offer at least because houses go fast here. I have a appointment with a attorney tomorrow to see what my options are but wanted to ask if anyone has experience with something like this. I'm living in Tennessee if that affects anything btw
