New Landlord Wants To Move In, Real Estate Won’t Contact Them To Discuss Leaving Lease 2 Weeks Early Without Penalty

Edit to clarify: QLD Australia
We have been renting a property for 2 years and the property recently sold to an owner occupier therefore we got a notice to leave at end of lease. We were accepted for another property much quicker than we anticipated, we had to take out a loan to pay the bond as only one of us is working, the intention was to use the bond for the old property to pay the majority of the new bond loan off. We asked the real estate to request to the new owner for us to end lease early more than a month ago and they assured us they would and get back to us. We have chased them multiple times for a response and they have claimed no response from owner yet, however today admitted they had not even asked. We have finished moving, carpets/pest/bond clean are all complete and we are 2 weeks shy of the lease ending but we are struggling financially with only one of us working, paying for two separate rents and having young children. We want to hand the keys back and not pay any more for the previous property only 2 weeks out from end lease. The new owner wants to move in, but how can we offer a mutual agreement to end early if realestate won’t ask and we have no way to contact landlord? Can we end early by any other way without penalty and still get our bond back?
TL;DR - real estate won’t contact landlord who wants to move into the property to discuss ending our lease 2 weeks early
