Neighbor Has Schizophrenia And Had Me Charged With Harassment And Trespassing During An Episode What Do I Do?

Hello,
I wanted to reach out because I was recently charged with Trespassing and Harassment.
My neighbor has Schizophrenia and she at times believes that I am out to get her or another neighbor is. This past weekend she called the police saying that I was in her yard threatening her and yelling at her which obviously isn't true. When the officer arrived I stated that I haven't left my house and I keep to myself. As this isn't the first issue relating to her and I over her diagnosis, he felt convinced that I had committed a few crimes.
Obviously I was taken back by this. I was told I was being cited for simple harassment and trespassing as her story was convincing enough.
I did state to the officer that she has Schizophrenia and is a danger to herself and the public and that I also would like her cited for harassment as she essentially is having the police harass me as she won't get the proper help for her condition.
They wouldn't do it and I did think about calling 911 and telling them she is a danger to herself and others in hopes that they'll have her sent to a hospital for treatment.
Obviously I'll plead not guilty, but what are my options here? I don't have a crimal background and never have gotten a speeding ticket. If I go the legal route I will sue her for damages done to me as well as maybe the police officer for not recognizing she is in distress? How would a defense look for this as these are false accusations and she clearly has a problem with her mental health.
