Can I/how Would I Threaten To File A Restraining Order On A 5 Year Old For My 5 Year Old? Or Threaten The School With A Lawsuit?
Lots of background but basically there are three very hands on kids in my childs Kindergarten class. 2 of 5 incidents involving our kid have been done by 1 kid and have been more extreme i.e. being dragged around the lunchroom which left light bruising/rug burn and a stomach punch that left a red mark hours after the event. The dragging incident they informed us of but others they have not and it's our child telling us. Friday another student was choked and the parents were NOT notified. Our child said the three had been choking eachother and choked other students all the time. Today our child tried to run away from school because "other kids hurt them everyday". I don't know how accurate anything from my child is as they are 5 but it is still very concerning. I think it might spur the administration to action or the parents of the worst offender if the other parents threatened some type of legal action.... I just am not sure what that would be/what kind of lawyer to even talk to.
