My Wife Had To Quit Her Job After Being Harassed By Her Boss On Maternity Leave, She Went To Corporate For And They Asked Her Not To Report It Any Further.

Hello, my wife and I live in Florida, and she was a manager at a restaurant until recently. She started maternity leave and her direct supervisor started sending her inappropriate messages about being replaced and not getting attention from my wife anymore as well as daily calls and voicemails and even long form emails. The contents of the messages was also concerning, very rarely had anything to do with work and rather how she was the light of his life and he was having issues with his wife so he needed to speak with her. So then she blocked his number and contacted their corporate office.
My wife's manager then started removing her paychecks from the building and holding them on his person, and telling my wife and other that the paycheck would not be released to her unless SHE came to HIM personally and he was very specific about this. He contacted my wife's mother as well as sent Facebook messages to my wife's friends asking to deliver a message but be discreet about it.
Then her manager showed up at our front door making the same claim, previously I had been retrieving her checks as she just gave birth. He found our address off my wife's paycheck that he removed.
We then contacted her corporate office again, spoke with the woman and informed her of the manager showing up to the house and how unsafe and scared it made my wife feel.
To which she replied:
"OWNER does NOT know anything about the MANAGER misunderstanding. I would request that we keep it that way. Besides you said it was mostly cause you said you want to stay at home with that sweet baby boy. And I know how much it would hurt MANAGER. I am sure you understand."
We then contacted the owner and while upset that it happened, didn't seem interested in assisting us at all. All of this has caused my wife to not want to return to work as she would still be directly under the manager who has been inappropriate and the company took no action at all.
We've been told to call lawyers by some and just to leave it alone by many different people. My wife worked for this company for 3 years and was a salaried manager. Is there anything we should be pursuing or is this just an unfortunant situation? Any advice would help we are at a total loss. We have kept record all messages, phone records, ring camera footage, emails, voicemails and even the messages from the woman at the corporate office telling my wife not to pursue.
