My Name Was Fraudulently Used On A Docusign Contract And Now I Have Collections Coming After Me

Hello - I received notification from a collections company that I owe an excess of $8500 for services rendered in relation to an old LLC of mine. They provided a copy of the contract that included my LLC information but I realized it was signed by an old business associate (bad falling out) under an email address only he had access to, but used my name in the docusign as the signatory. He is dodging me now, but I have the contract with the verification page that includes the IP address. I looked up the IP address and its associated with his hometown city. The day the contract was signed I have photo and location proof that I was in Miami Florida, and could even get multiple people to attest I was at a dinner with them. What would you recommend for next steps? Should I call an attorney first? File the complaint with DocuSign? File a police report? Thank you in advance.
