My Impossible Ex Wants More Money.

Hello!

Just wondering what my options are in the following situation or if I have anything I need to worry about.

Basically, when my ex and I split she took full advantage of us having a shared account and almost entirely emptied it, along with the stuff in the house. Admittedly I could have done more to stop this but I thought my world was ending and felt backed into a corner and was being harassed by her and her friends and family and ended up getting the really shitty end of the stick where I was working 60 hour weeks at a job I hated basically to fund her life. When I met the woman who is now my (second) wife she helped me to see my value and how badly I was being taken advantage of and pushed me to finally do what I always wanted to do and go to school to become a therapist. So I enrolled at a university and when I told my job I needed to reduce my hours they let me go without cause. So I got a new job that worked with my new work schedule, as a student receiving a student loan I cannot work “full time” it can’t go over 32 hours. Well my ex is now pregnant and telling me that “I’ve been going to school long enough” and is trying to legally find a way to make it so I need to quit school and work more so I can pay more child support to fund her life again because I guess her new husband cannot.

So my question is… is there a certain amount of time that I’m allotted being a student (like she claims) and does she have any grounds to her threats? Or shall I ignore her and enroll in my next semester and continue doing what I’m doing. I started all of this so I could help fund the kids university when they get to that age, but she just wants money now.
