My Ex Is Threatening To Take My Kids.
I 28 (f) am a SAHM to a 5 and 3 year old and they’re dad 33 (M) decided to end our relationship. And I wanna go back to our home country which is part of the US. (We live in WI). But now that we are trying to go our separate ways he’s decided he wants to fight for custody even though he’s always told me I’m they’re mom and should be with me. And told me that I need to get his permission to be able to take the kids with me. And a judge will side with him because he has a job and I don’t, even though he basically told me that being a SAHM was the best option for our kids at that time. And now he’s telling me to basically abandon the kids and move without them because I’ll have a losing battle on my hands because he can afford to get a lawyer to fight and I can’t afford one because I of course don’t work. I should add he can’t afford daycare on his salary and is basically gonna have a stranger take care of them because we don’t have any family here.
I really need legal advice on what to do next. And what’s best for my kids.
