My Doctor Diagnosed Mild Tummy Issues And Ignored Pleas For Pain Meds. Seven Months Later I Was Diagnosed With Stage 4 Cancer. Should I Sue?

I wrote to ten attorneys and three came back saying I have a case and two have already agreed to a pro bono case and they will take a percentage of the amount sued for when they win.

I have a dilemma about suing someone who I believe is a nice guy and I also have a conflict because although my prognosis is poor - I have family members who could do with funds if I won the case.

what are your thoughts?

I think my conscience will win in the end and I have 18 months left on the planet (if my prognosis is accurate)

I am struggling with "do I need the stress of a law-suit and all that it would entail?"
