My Daughter Was Harassed
I’ll try to make it as concise as possible. My 6 year old daughter rides the bus home. Yesterday she was sat with a 4th grader. He exposed himself (????) and kept trying to coerce my daughter to suck it, and when she wouldn’t, he grabbed her hand and tried to put it on himself. He got off at his stop, which is across the complex, and followed to bus where my daughter gets off and followed her home still harassing her. He blocked her way of getting in our apartment before finally leaving. She came in and immediately told me what happened. We contacted the bus garage, police, and the school. Footage of the bus shows nothing, and there were no witnesses to what happened. The school said they could kick the kid off the bus but nothing else would happen because there’s no “proof”. My problem I have with this is my daughter is SIX, she doesn’t know anything about sex. She has no unsupervised screen time, so nothing slips in there. There’s no reason to believe she wouldn’t lie about this. It’s in the hands of the authorities now. What could happen? Will my daughter get her justice? Is there anything else I can do? Located in Indiana of that matters for anything
