My Brother Was Found Dead In His Apartment Monday. His Landlord Said They Will Not Let Us Into The Apartment. Is There Anything We Can Do?

We live in Florida. We would like to see if he has a will or insurance that might help with expenses related to his cremation. We don't want anything from the apartment.
Edit:
To answer some common questions. Yes, my father is next of kin. My brother has never been married, has no children, my mother, and other brother are also dead. It's only me and my 84yo father left. That is why the cops went to my father's house on Monday at 6am.
The body went to the medical examiners, and it's now being moved to the funeral home.
When the landlord asked why we needed to get in, we told him we wanted to see if there was a will and if there was any insurance to cover cremation.
There are two landlords, a lady who we called first and her partner, who they claim is a lawyer, the same guy who says there is no will and no insurance in the house - he knows because he looked for it already.
Finally, thank you for your responses. I understand what to do. I'm going to do nothing.
A lot of you keep talking about stuff being removed from the house. We want nothing out of the house. I will let the process take as much time as it needs to take, and let them worry about how long it is before they can rent it again.
I googled executor - not worried about that either - he has no assets.
