My Boyfriend Doesn’t Want His Name On The Lease..

I’m 19F and my boyfriend is 21M, turning 22 this June. We planned to move in together with his friend and I’ve been on the hunt for apartments and townhomes, whatever, you name it. I’ve been looking for a 3bd 2 bathroom situation so my boyfriend and I can have a room to share, a room for his friend and a room for me to do nails for my nail business. I ran into an issue here though where my boyfriend doesn’t want his name to be on the lease. He worries that his name will trail everywhere and is a bit of a skeptic when it comes to those things. Granted, I wouldn’t want anyone to find out home address however there’s ways to get around this and mitigate our online presence. I’m not sure where this fear is coming from. He makes a lot of money through YouTube and affiliate marketing and just recently filed his taxes upon my request. Hes made a lot in the past year. He’s responsible and will pay the rent but for some reason I don’t understand the lease part.. I asked him what scenario would he be okay with putting his name under the lease and he said that only if he’s renting alone. Wouldn’t this just be the same scenario without me involved? I’m just worried if something goes wrong between us if I have to be left with all the fees and no legal obligations on his end. I know he wouldn’t but still. What can I do in this scenario to legally protect his name whilst also making sure we’re all responsible? His friend has an LLC and they suggested the LLC under the lease but I’m not sure if that’ll work.. I have enough money from my job + inheritance so bank/pay stubs aren’t an issue.
EDIT: Is there also a possibility where I could have just myself on the lease and have them pay me the remaining rent? Or is that illegal ..??? Not sure what route to take here.
EDIT: We were also looking into tiny homes and purchasing land which would save tons of money in the long run. I have also seen comments about commercial businesses being ran in the home, I will see what else I can do or at least negotiate with a landlord if I do plan to rent. I’ve just seen and been to many at-home nail techs and they seem to be doing fine.
