My Apts Refusing To Give Me My Rent Receipts/ Saying I Have Not Paid Rent
I live on subsidized housing here in CO. The manager at by apartment left a 30 day notice in my door back in March, to either pay said money or move out. He told me I didn't pay rent for some prior months, which I did and I have my money order receipts to prove it. He told me 3 different things as to why it was showing unpaid. As of today May 20th the same manager called me and told me he did not receive a rent payment for May of this month, then I told him I turned it in, then he tells me it was April not May. So he keep telling me several different things and excuses. When I asked the office for my rent receipts, they say they don't give them out because it takes too much time!! What are my legal options?
