Mom Arrested Falsely For Dui After Breathalyzer Tested A False Positive/failing To Walk A Straight Line Immediately After Being In A Car Accident (has Broken Ribs). Cop Took Her To Hospital And Was Given A Drug Test There. What Are The Next Steps To Prove

She just recently got out of the hospital and I’m trying to help her with all of the “next steps” right now.

She does not know her case number currently and is going down to the police station tomorrow to get that info and to see what her charges are. We believe DUI might be on there due to her failing a breathalyzer and the test to walk a straight line. Of course she was going to fail walking a straight line having just been in a car crash that resulted in broken ribs… I’m just happy she can walk at all.

She was not able to see what the results are of the toxicology tests performed at the hospital without a lawyer according to the desk admin at the hospital. Is this true? What does this mean? Does this mean that the police have this information already? If so, would that mean her charges could possibly be dropped?

She does not drink or anything so I’m assuming the results from the hospital would show her as clean. I’m confused why the breathalyzer would fail though.

What are some of our next steps and what can we expect? Took place in Nevada.

Thank you for any and all of your help!
