Landlord Leased A New Tenant My Unit, But My Lease Is Not Expired.

first time poster here, sorry! basically, i signed a lease on November 29th of 2023, stating my move in date was January 1st, 2024. it is an 18 month lease, so my move out date is supposed to be July 25th, 2025 at noon. this is stated multiple times on the lease i signed. i emailed my landlord today to confirm i don't need to renew since my lease is good until next year, but she has informed me that my unit has been secured by another tenant and i must be out my july 25th, 2024. basically, in two months. i was given no notice, and would not have known about this fuck-up unless i reached out to her today. i live in north carolina, and need some advice on how to escalate this if she doesn't allow me to finish out my lease. she basically stated that there are no more 1 bedroom units left, and she can't get another unit for the next tenant. i don't see how this is my problem. i pay my rent on time, have not received any complaints, no pets (even though it is pet friendly), and have otherwise not done anything that is grounds for eviction. what should i do?
