Is My Landlord Legally Allowed To Call Urgent Care About My Medical Diagnosis W/o My Consent Or Knowledge?!

My children and I have been getting food poisoning from a faulty refrigerator, that fluctuates in temperature, and spoils our food. I have made work orders, provided documentation showing the fridge/ freezer temperature stats from our thermostat, and videos/pictures of the food. My children and I are constantly sick. We went to urgent care yesterday, sharing all of our symptoms, and were tested for the flu & Covid which came back negative. They stated that we had a severe case of food borne illness. I explained the situation and wanted it documented. The provider wrote me a letter explaining the reasons as to why we were seen, the symptoms, his diagnosis, and his recommendation of having the appliance replaced.

I forwarded this letter to my landlord 06/03/24. This morning, I received a call from the provider stating that my landlord called the establishment (urgent care) asking him to elaborate in detail how he came to this diagnosis.

Are they allowed to do this?! Is this a HIPPA violation? She did not ask for my consent before hand. TY
