Is It Legal For Me To Take Pictures Of Unsanitary Conditions At The Restuarant I Work At?

i live in minnesota, in the us. my ex coworker who has more experience informed me some things, like dirty dishes being left overnight, garbage being left in the kitchen overnight, ant infestation, the grill not being cleaned properly.. i think there's also contamination in the freezer, as they would have raw meat beside or above other food. honestly i probably should just try to take a picture of everything, but i will likely be fired for doing so. my boss is breaking other laws so i don't intend to stay long but some things like dishes and garbage being left overnight, need proof beyond one single picture, yes? of course, this is only if it would be legal to take pictures without permission from my boss
