Is It Illegal To Change The Car Logos On Your Car?
I have a Kia and it got broken into twice. I really want to sell the car and get a new one because I can’t have this happen to me for a 3rd time. However, I also don’t want to have to go through all the trouble of getting a new car and it potentially having problems when my Kia is just fine and I like my Kia a lot. My husband suggested changing the logos on the car from Kia to Subaru because they have a model that looks a lot like mine. However, I think that might be illegal? I’m pretty sure it is. I tried looking it up and maybe I wasn’t using the right words because I couldn’t find anything on it.
So, is it illegal? I’m talking about the stuff that says “Kia” on the rims, the back of the car, steering wheel etc. Maybe it has another name to it idk. Thanks! I’m in CT
