In A 3 Year Contract, Need To Terminate Early

I’m a physician at a big community hospital (we have residents but no academic medical school) with a 3 year contract. I’m about to have worked here for 1 year and I am looking for a position elsewhere, as our family has to relocate. I anticipate that I’ll be able to sign another contract in a month or two. I will let my company know as soon as i find a new position so they can have as much time as possible to look for someone else. But between my anticipated notification and when I actually have to move, it’ll be probably 4 months. The contract doesn’t say anything about paying anything back or any legal repercussions, it just says that I can only terminate at the end of my term (3years) and I have provided 90 days notice. I actually love my job and everyone here and would hate to cut ties (which I think may be unavoidable). This was not at all the intended plan when I started. What is the best way to approach this? And what sort of legal repercussions do I need to be aware of (again, the contract doesn’t really say anything about that, just that I can’t terminate before the end of the term)? Thanks so much in advance.
