I Was Extorted By An Escort

I want to start off by saying I'm aware I don't have many moral or legal grounds to stand on but I would appreciate the advice without judgement. I was looking to hire an escort and after being stupid enough to give my ID, Facebook profile, a selfie and the deposit. The person turned out to be someone else and threatened to post screenshots of our conversations and my pictures on Facebook. I ended up paying him a lot of money which may have not been the right thing to do as clearly I got taken advantage of but I got scared. I'm obviously feeling like an idiot and clearly too damaged to ever try this again. I'm also okay that I lost the money because I think of it as my punishment and consequences.

However I'm scared that I may be extorted again. The person sent me a video of him deleting the pictures and conversations from his phone now but I still don't trust that he can't come back for me somehow later.

I have deleted my friends off Facebook just incase and also my LinkedIn. Still have Instagram for now.

Any recommendations about what action to take now and what I should do if he contacts me back? Any comments would be appreciated. Thank you.
