I Am Looking To Send A Cease And Desist Letter To A Former Landlord Turned Stalker. What Type Of Lawyer Should I Be Seeking For This?

As the title says, I (37f) am dealing with a man who refuses to leave me alone.
For background, my family and I rented a home from this man for three years, ending in 2022. Durning that time he sent me hundreds of texts, many times lewd and extremely inappropriate/sexual/graphic. He frequently entered the property without 24 hours notice - sometimes multiple times a day, sometimes while I was in the shower (without announcing his presence). I caught him looking into my windows multiple times. He also required that I provided manual labor with home improvement projects, cutting trees, splitting his firewood, etc. (I was working with him in person for this) on an almost daily basis. I always complied because he would threaten to sell the property if I didn’t help. I have almost 1000 texts from him that confirm this behavior.
We moved out, squared up the security deposit refund, and had our lease signed off on. There are no financial loose strings attaching us. However, in the years since, the former landlord continued to call and text me (all ignored). He occasionally finds my husband and I out in town, and has been told every time that we want no contact and to leave us alone.
Former landlord has now started showing up at my current residence - disturbing since I didn’t give him a forwarding address and have been no contact with him (except for the in town incidents where he was told to leave us alone). He comes when he knows my husband is at work. He scares me, especially because he seems to now be escalating his efforts to be around me after years of “silence” from him. I have been in touch with law enforcement about it.
My question is, given all of this information, what type of lawyer should I be seeking out to help me write a cease and desist letter? Also, do I have a case to sue for harassment?
EDIT: Thank you to the few people who have already taken the time to comment. I want to let everyone know that I am taking the advice to seek a protection order immediately. Any additional legal advice regarding a civil suit would still be very much appreciated!
