Hvac Company Took And Replaced The Wrong Ac Unit Leaving The One That Doesn’t Work

We hired a place in northern Colorado to replace an AC unit ( 1of 2) that they had diagnosed needed it. They talked us into also getting the upstairs furnace done as well for a bundle deal. That furnace needed to go as well. Work gets done recently.

Wife calls them back because the main floor is still getting too warm and the AC won’t keep up. Guy who closed the deal is the one who comes out to see if he can figure it out. I am at work at this point.

According to my wife basically said that the wrong AC was replaced. We had it financed.

Yesterday he called back saying it was a miscommunication on his side and our side and that all they could offer was to do the correct AC unit at cost, so just pay for the unit and the install would be on them. We have told them that our stance is they will replace it for free or we will see them in small claims.

What if anything else we can we do besides reporting through UAP laws?
