Husband Stole My Lease, What Can I Do?
My husband and I are separating/divorcing because he is a manipulative and controlling narcissist, among other things. I leased my vehicle from Honda in 2021 before I ever knew him. Fast-forward to today, when he realized it was definitely over this time and stole my car using my spare key. I contacted the police and they told me since we are married they can’t do anything about it. I live in Pennsylvania for reference.
I’m pretty mind blown over this, seeing how it’s a lease, in my name, from before we even met. Not that it makes a difference but he’s also never paid a dime towards the car, and he doesn’t even have a valid license.
I’m calling Honda in the morning but wanted to ask here as well because I’m sick over the fact that the cops wouldn’t help me.
What can I do??
