How Do You Divorce Someone That’s Basically Off The Grid?

Hi, so I’m married to a British citizen living in America. His visa is expired, he has been in the country for 3 years now and we’ve been married for two years but out of those two, we’ve been separated for a year now. We met and got married in California, but I’ve moved to Pennsylvania then to New Jersey but I hold a PA license. And he went back to CA. I wanted to file for summary of dissolution of marriage in California because it will be easier and we have absolutely nothing to divide or own anything together nor children. But he’s telling me he doesn’t have a job, doesn’t have a CA license, or an address and that he’s living out of his car. And also that his car is not registered to him nor does have he car insurance. But he told his mom that he only said that to keep me in this marriage longer. He thinks he’s magically gonna get his green card through me because he has no status here, but we have not even started a filing process for his green card. So how do I divorce someone who doesn’t have an address or lying about his whereabouts?
