Haven't Heard From My Lawyer Since I Paid Him..

I got convicted of a DUI on November 1. After deciding on a lawyer, I asked how we move forward with the fee agreement and he invited me to meet at his office the next week. I visited my lawyer at his law office on November 11 for a quick 10-minute meeting. As I was filling out the fee agreement with my information and credit card information he stopped me and told me to not bother with the credit card information as it's better not to keep a paper trail. He charged my card the agreed amount in full using a credit card software on his laptop and emailed me a receipt. I signed the fee agreement and expected him to sign it before scanning it and giving me a copy along with a folder and business card. I was anxious and awkward so I didn't think to look at the fee agreement before leaving but he didn't sign his line of the agreement.
I emailed him later that day mentioning that he didn't sign the fee agreement and emailed him a photo of my license, which he asked for at the meeting but forgot to bring it with me.
I've emailed him two other times with different questions and providing more info about my case like sending him the police report from the incident and still haven't heard from him.
It's been 12 days since signing the fee agreement and paying my lawyer. I haven't received my arraignment date for the DUI so I'm hoping once that's scheduled he'll finally reach out but the lack of signature and communication makes me anxious every day.
tl;dr Haven't heard from my lawyer in 12 days after emailing him three times. Have I been grifted?
