Got A Lawyer Fee For Lemon Car Buy Back, Normal?

Card image cap

I got hit with a contigency fee of $1000 after my car dealer agreed to do a buyback for my car. The fee was separated out where $1000 was deducted from me for the total the dealer was willing to pay.

I thought the manufacturer was supposed to pay ALL fees so I didn't bother looking through the contract for this. I had a lemon lawyer before for another car and they never deducted my buy back for my vehicle. Also we're heading close to 2 years to settle this case. The car manufacturer is still playing games after agreeing to take the car back. They won't return a car for a date or time. It's been 2 months since I signed the agreement with them.

What can I do in all this? I've been afraid of damaging the car, someone hitting me etc so I've left it laying there in my drive way. It's been a big inconvenience and I had to take out a loan with a high interest rate to get a new car waiting on this pay out to happen.
