Finding Trustees Of A Trust

Card image cap

I inherited my grandmother's library, which includes a binder with information about a trust that (I believe) was set up after the death of a person in 1820. From what I can tell, the trust was set up to provide financial assistance for the education of children in my area, so I'm not sure that there is a clear beneficiary for this trust.

I cannot find a record of another trustee that is still living. My grandmother is the only living trustee, but she had a stroke in 2022, so she isn't able to help me sort this out. All financial information was kept up to date until her stroke.

The trust has a bank account with a small amount of money and about 5 acres where a school sat.

What do I need to do to make this trust active again? It had an annual scholarship that I would like to start awarding again, if possible.
