Early Lease Termination Due To Bat Infestation In Walls.
I am currently renting a home in South Dakota and the home has a very bad bat infestation in the walls. The smell of bat urine is very apparent on the upper floor of my home when it gets hot outside almost like a strong ammonia smell. I’ve also noticed a lot of bat droppings coming out of the window sill. I contacted my property manager over a week ago now about this issue and nothing has been done. My lease ends on 8/31/2024 and I am looking to move out by the end of next month and want the lease terminated due to the health issues associated with breathing all this stuff in. How would I go about getting the lease terminated due to this issue?
