Domains Sold

A Godaddy domain of mine was sold. It was not ever listed for sale and I have never sold anything. It was sold through ‘Afternic’. I’ve never heard of them and do not have an account with them. GD said whenever someone places an item for sale that they are automatically signed up.

I went in to my domains and noticed it was gone. GD said in September of 23 a list of my domains were put on sale. They said they sent me an email in February telling me it was sold. I did not put anything up for sale therefore how could they send me an email.

The domain had full protection, I payed for that specifically. I also have 2-step verification and I change my passwords regularly. No one has access to my devices or passwords. The domain was rated as high value with a generous market estimate.

What needs to be done?
