Do Doctors Have To Legally Ask Parent/ Guardian To Leave When Asking About Sexual History?
so exactly what the title say. do doctors have to legally ask parents/guardians to leave when asking about sexual history with minors? im in texas and i've only had a doctor once that asked formy parents to leave the room while asking. i was wondering if that even legal to not? i feel like that goes against doctor patient confidentiality. what about asking in front of other people? because this one time a doctor asked me in a full waiting room. cause that definitely doesnt feel right. im not a minor anymore just want some knowledge cause its been bugging me lately
