Common Law Divorce??
Hi all, I’m posting on behalf of my sister, hoping to find some options for her. Her and her fiance have been together for 13 years, engaged for 5 and ultimately it’s not working out. They bought a home together about 7 years ago, but his name is on it and hers is not. She pays the mortgage, taxes, contributes equally etc. Right now they are at the cusp of splitting ways and she’s freaking out because she cannot afford to live on her own and unfortunately she doesn’t really have options for where she can go right now, it’s a pretty tough situation. Over the last 2 days he’s been trying to kick her out, saying this is my house etc., what rights does she have? For reference, she is in PA.
