Can The Police Really Not Do Anything About Assault And Death Threats?
I 19 recently got death threats from ex bf18 he threatened to hurt me with a knife multiple times and the last time he said “ you’ll be dead one day when I have a knife around” he has assaulted me multiple times slapped in face , hit, grabbed and made bruises all on my arms, thrown off the bed and had a mark on my back from hitting the corner of my night stand, and thrown over his bed. He also held me hostage in his room for about 20 min till I finally got out that’s why he tossed me bc I was trying to leave. I have proof of everything and including a video of me trying to leave his house and him following me and him saying idc when I said u threw me over the bed and threatened me with a knife. My mom talked to a cop and said nothing can really be done and my aunt spoke with an attorney and said the same thing. That this case won’t go anywhere. I mean wtf now I’m constantly on high alert and nothing can be done apparently.
