Client (who Is A Pediatric Doctor) Had Photos Of Children On Personal Phone.
I am a hairdresser, and while my new client was searching for a reference photo for their haircut, I noticed a majority of the photos were of children’s private parts. They then used their fingers to cover the photos and stated they were a pediatric urologist and that’s why they have the photos. I find it highly suspicious they have such photos on their personal phone, they were a majority mixed in with basic screenshots and selfies. I know it violates HIPPA. And it makes me extremely uncomfortable that they are of children’s privates. My therapist said I should contact CPS. But I’m scared of making it obvious that it was me who reported them. But I also cannot live knowing i did nothing to stop something that could be potentially awful. What should I do? We are in the USA and client has just moved to our state.
