Circuit Court Vs Magistrate Court

I had a debt collection Motion for Judgement filed against me 3 years ago. I successfully proved that the debt was not mine, and the Court DENIED the motion and the case dismissed.
I just received a Civil Summons for the same matter from the local Magistrate Court. I need to send an answer and am a little confused. If this was already DENIED, should I just send a copy of that Court Order ( and a brief explanation)? OR, since this is coming from Magistrate Court, do I need to start all over again? I don't know the difference between the two courts, but I assume that if the Circuit Court denied the motion, then the Magistrate Court should NOT be able to bring the same allegations?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
