Cease And Desist Letter

In January of this year, I fell for a subscription scam; they took €100 off my card for a subscription that I didn't need.
I made some internet noise and created a Facebook group (which now has over 3000 members). In the name of the group is the name of the company with the addition of "scam".
A month later I got a refund, after a lot of trouble and effort, because we put a lot of pressure on them through social media. Also, a lot of people from the group got refunds on persistence and pressure.
Around the middle of the year, the company changed the UX on the site. Now, it's a little more noticeable that they will charge you a subscription, and since then, refunds have become less and less frequent.
However, I have since discovered r/darkpatterns and despite those changes for the better, this company still has many illegal and deceptive elements in the way it promotes and enforces its subscription.
This morning, I received a warning from a lawyer demanding that I shut down the group and accuse me of untrue and disparaging content in the group name and posts, as well as sharing employee email addresses. People found email addresses and shared them because it was impossible to get in touch with a human being in the company.
I'm pretty sure they can't beat me in court, maybe the purpose of the warning is just to scare me. Please if there is a lawyer to confirm this for me?
In the event of a lawsuit, would I be able to recover my time and money spent in court?
Does it make sense for us to collectively sue the company? Dark patterns are still loosely defined in the laws, but this company grossly violates even those existing, loose laws.
Thanks in advance for the replies and sorry for the long post.
