Can Parental Rights Be Reinstated In Missouri?
I have had my grandchild since she came home from the hospital. She is now 6 years old. My daughter and her boyfriends parental rights were terminated. I adopted my grandchild in 2020. I received a message this morning from a close family member saying that the "biological father" has gotten engaged to his new girlfriend. And that down the road they plan on trying to take my grandchild for me. My name is on the birth certificate to my understanding once rights are terminated biological parents are considered nothing to the child. My question is is there any way possible that he can get his parental rights reinstated in Missouri and take her from me?
