Can I Legally Make My Neighbor Pay For Damage To My Car Caused By His Kids?
Long story short neighbors kids were playing and one of them nailed my car door with a football leaving a big dent and paint chipped off. He didn't seemed bothered by it and told me "it doesn't effect the way it drives" and I told him he was still paying for the damage because I'm not sacrificing my low insurance premiums. He angrily responded "I don't have money to fix my stuff so why should I fix yours? Don't bother me about it again or there's gonna be an issue." Later on in a condescending tone told he's got a friend that can fix it as a favor to him.....no shop, no garage, no business just a guy that managed to learn how to bondo and work a can of paint so we know what those results will be. Am I able to sue him in small claims to pay for the damages and win? It's on the ring camera and everything.
